This painting was commissioned by Relentless Publishing. It was used as their cover illustration for their game called Prophecy, spcifically for a book on the kingdom of Galleran.

I wanted to show the small jewel of civilization glowing brightly in contrast to the beautiful and terrible wilderness that surrounds it. This game is exciting because so much of it is still unknown and so deeply layered. It truely harkens to the adventurer/explorer spirit.
