24" x 36" on Canvas, this is the first in a series I am creating dedicated to Joan of Arc. In this piece, she is preparing for a battle and she stops for a minute to communicate with God.

She is a saint, a cultural icon, and a pivotal person in the history of western civilization. Yet still, she was just an ordinary girl who was willing to be obedient to God. I think it is important to remember her this way.
